Death is very personal to me
As it is on a level that no-one can see
I see the light taken from your eyes
As your soul ascends towards the skies
I wish to find you yet again
Death, is very personal to me my friend

...I wish I could tell you how much this poem means to me. If you don't mind, I'm going to print this out and keep it in my poetry journal. |

This is wonderful. My Nana was very, very special to me. I kind of wrote about her in Knowing Love. She was closer to me than my own mother, and I lived with her for some time before she died. This is a wonderful and concise tribute. Very touching.

I was around that age when my grandmother died. It was a very difficult time and I used writing as an outlet to console myself. Your poem touched my heart deeply..... Kie |
