my hero

Contributed by lostinmyself on Friday, 2nd April 2004 @ 07:04:25 AM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

i stand on the edge of the cliff,
the wind blowing me violently,
threatening to break me with its power,
beckoning me with the threat of a fall,
the jagged peaks strangely welcoming me,
silent with the thought of ending it all,
but your whisper brings me crashing back to reality,
'dont be lost, im here, you wont fall'
and i turn totally silent,
as you pull me from the edge,
and back into your arms...

'are you my hero?'
