through these school doors
no more
I'm believing that
I'm leaving

Before i go
i wanna know
will i be forgotten?
You say
we're believing that
you're leaving
we're believing that
you're leaving,and
you best believe
that you will not be
forgotten
stairing at eachother
nothing would ever bother us
and now!
I'm believing tha
i'm leaving
but i just wanna know
will times be slow?
Stairing at eachother
silence in the air
and your eyes not leaving me eyes
You say,yes times'll be slow
but you know
you will not be forgotten

I like your poem. reminded me of the last day of school. graduation day. I find that time flies by not slow at all.
I liked how you repeated the words how it seemed that you wrote a bit and then added to it later and then later you added alittle more. remember poetry in mother goose's book. THE PIG WOULDNT GO OVER THE STY. OR MAYBE THE HOUSE THAT JACK BUILT. good write. sandy |
