I wanted you to know.
Just how hard it is to let go.
You have done so much for me.
You showed me all that I can be.

I have had so much fun wiht you.
It was almost too good to be true.
Maybe I am scared to take a chance.
A chance on love and romance.

But it is time to end our moment.
How fast it came and went.
I will never forget you, even when we part.
For I have given you a piece of my heart.

Thank you for all that you are.
You deserve the moon and the stars.
So think of me sometimes, and I will of you.

A beautiful poem , it sounds like it gave you closure writing this one.
