If You Love Her

You're smothering her
You know that, don't you?
You say you love her
But if you did, you'd let her go
She doesn't want you
She's told you enough times already
But you still press it
And it's tearing her apart
Why are you so obsessed?
She doesn't want to hurt you
Nor hurt herself the same
But you shove the guilt of leaving
She wants you to be happy
You know that, don't you?
Just not with her, away from her
It's time for you to move on
