Sinking Deep

Contributed by TwEeK on Thursday, 1st April 2004 @ 09:21:30 PM in AEST
Topic: psychoticpoems

Everything is caving in,
Walls inching closer,
Squishing me as i scream,

My heart pounds in my chest,
I try to break free of its power,
Blackness drowns my sight,

Call out your name,
Here no repley,
Sinking into depression,

I cry these bitter tears,
No one can here me scream,
Painful howels from within,

My life shatters on the floor,
Broken bit by bit like glass,
Tiny shardes are all thats left,

Trapped in a nonexistant life,
Love was taken from me,
Never to return agin,

Anger thus my new held love,
Cradel me in your arms,
Stuck in the darkness,

You see me here,
Rocking back and forth,
Speak softly but i cant here you,

Humming out the sadness,
Out every word or phrase,
Lock me up i don't care,

Some days i cry,
Today i scream,
Let me leave,

I'd rather die than be here,
Death in your arms,
Still and cold to touch,

Not now though,
Waiting for you to come,
To die with you,

Aggonizing bloodred tears,
Shed from my skin,
Red walls and floor,

White becomes red,
Scratch till i bleed,
Padded floor to ceiling,

Hammering fists on every surface,
Scream and shout your name,
Bleed to death not now,

Your now here,
See whats become of me,
Wretched and torn,

You look away as i say your name,
Can't stand to see me like this,
You slowly turn away,

I cry that night,
Die dreaming of you,
Open wounds gushing,

You here of my passage,
Scream and cry for me,
Back to where i once was,

This time there to stay.

Nicely done. Not bad, not bad at all . . . though I'm gonna be all picky and ask if you've considered using some sort of spellcheck: it'd greatly enhance your poetry.
