Flying with Wings

Contributed by TwEeK on Thursday, 1st April 2004 @ 06:19:09 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

I'm leaving you now,
No love can hold me,
Go away and never come back,

It wasn't your fault!
No don't say that!
This is my desision,

What do you care anyway?
No one cares about me,
Only hate can reassure me,

I feel so alone right now,
A social outcast ever dying,
Seeping so slowly my blood,

I cut with pain and pleasure,
Stop staring at me,
My hideouse deformed face,

How can you see love in these eyes,
My dark emotionless eyes,
This pained expression across my face,

Every day is the same,
Away fom here i'll soon be,
I don't care for anything no more,

I am nothing in their eyes,
A wast of air to breathe,
So why do you love me,

I'm not beautyful or sexy,
No possitive attitude,
Only endless hate and pain,

Don't leave me you say,
I love you but you cant keep me here,
Every bird has to fly,

Soar straight into the sun,
If I had wings like a swan,
Only your love holds me here,

I'll only fly in my dreams,
Hoping and wishing,
Praying that you'll join me,

Spread wings and fly high,
Closer ever closer to the sun,
Burning in firey suicide,

Set these wings a flame,
Burn a hole through my soul,
Tattered and torn everywhere,

Birds we can be,
Fly to our death,
Together we shall burn,

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
