Memory Loss

Contributed by apollo on Thursday, 1st April 2004 @ 03:39:56 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Transition of the rotated axis,
circle becomes triangular.
This vocabulary becomes plastic,
as it melts away.
Confusion between numbers and letters,
create definite paralysis of color and shape.
Memorizing happenings found illicit,
trying to remember how to function my calculator.
Operation of one's brain cells,
deplete as the hand believes different.
They say Alzheimer's starts in the later stages of life,
for why am I forgetful at 19?
Ignore it I musn't.
For I am truly scared.

YARGH! The common plight of the over-worked student! (Atleast, that's what I think this one's about.... right? Oh, if it's not, I'll feel like a doof I'll bet) Anyways, I'm completely bowled over by this one. Very well done.

God bless,
Ellen

To be forgetful at any age is distressing to say the least. It happens to all both young and old. Do not let it worry you though remember only the elephant never forgets. LOLs.

i think this poem is amazing. you've put things together really well in this. i like the style. this very true. things like this do happen in life, and they leave an impact, that's either big or small.
i know what you mean, and where you're going with this. i feel it too. never believe that you're alone!
