There is no jewel
upon this earth
that are as precious
or as valuable
than the true value
of a true friend
or the rightful worth
of a friendship earned
but in the painting of life
by the brush-stroke of chance
even true friends depart
and truer friendships divide
the colors of life the palette of choices
its hues often shutters the view
leaving one alone divided in census
to walk down the avenues of solitude
in all my tales and all my wanderings
I may never ever find again
those generous delightful seraphin
the gathering of dear dear friends
though we might never cross paths again
I wish you all the best in all of things
perhaps in memories, in dreams, in hopes or in poetry
mayhaps our sundered paths will one day sing.

I love it. In all respect of those who once walked with us. I miss them.
Thanks, for these words.
Peace. |

OH, I love this! Such a great write. Simple in the choice of words, but not too simple, you know? I didn't have to grab a dictionary every two seconds but it was still beautiful.
I very much liked this =)
God bless,

So many thoughts go thru my mind upon reading this. Why is the friends of the past that we were so close to at one time, we seem to drift away from sometimes? I dunno, just me rambling. Educations, work, relocation etc seems to get in the way. But I still remember them. I liked your poem and thought you really put into words the way you felt. Loved the title as well.... Kie |

True friends may leave our sight, but they never leave our hearts. Beautiful work.

Strange how friendships can suddenly dissipate as easily as they are formed...sad but true. You captured the yearning for long lost scenes beautifully. |

An insightful read. I've experienced friendships that fall apart, you captured the whole scenario so well. :) |
