Pledge of Surrender

Contributed by Valerie_Pearson on Sunday, 22nd September 2002 @ 07:10:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Singling out it's primate,
it enters with full force,
the shape of its expressions,
makes you want, to follow course,
you stand there, lethargic,
speaking out, only in tongue,
it's quake shakes, inside your heart,
each beat ,makes you ...... become,
with its skill, it leaves you helpless,
hypnotizing all your needs,
through legend, it has learned,
it leaves you begging on your knees,
As an expert, it will lock you,
suppling your desires,
you pledge out your surrender,
your sweat turns into fire,
The flame becomes the master,
the pilot of your soul,
clustering around,
you become, the centerfold,
grabbing at all senses,
it twines throughout your veins,
blue sorrows, your only enemy,
each thread is crossed the same,
it shows you where its been,
holding on to all the links,
bringing out the best,
you are snatched by how, it thinks,
climbing over hills,
the mountains are its walls,
it catches all your passes,
and lifts you when you fall,
Covering wide area, it brings a soothing rain,
and holds you by the hand,
when your eyes are filled with pain,
its journey makes you curious,
cradling your dreams,
though it tithers and it tathers,
there's more that lies between,
whatever way you turn,
whatever you become,
it loves you as a whole,
you've become it's number one,
As legend still may have it,
it partakes a double turn,
its natural collection,
the pilot of the burn,
it locks you in a frenzy,
every desire, leaves supply,
it meets with your reflection,
its the soul, that is your guide!
