Left to walk alone

People use me and don't care,
if they knew what I am they wouldn't dare.
So if into my ice cold eyes you stare,
you'll know why you should beware.
The invisible scars that I wear,
are from having my soul stripped bare.
The life I used to live I can not share,
the ones I love I do not wish to scare.
They say that time will heal,
but it grinds me under its wheels.
Feel my emotions start to peal,
keeping sanity with late night deals.
I once had a heart of steel,
then a woman tore open my inner seals.
The flood of feelings that came to be,
started to destroy the deadly side of me.
Love with these eyes never thought I would see,
always a loner coudn't imagine an us or we.
From my past this angel seemed to set me free,
how was I to know the hidden fee.
With each passing day her desire dropped a degree,
in the end my bleeding heart hung from a tree.
The pain becomes a song,
I know the words so I sing along.
In this world do I belong,
to choose am I really that strong.
Sway the music of an unseen band,
dance round and round holding deaths hand.
Falling with no friends to help me stand,
left to walk alone in this land!
