What Is A Woman

Contributed by Rylo on Thursday, 1st April 2004 @ 02:51:02 AM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

I once heard a man say, that a woman
was just good for cleaning
around the house, and for a good time
in the bedroom.
I was pretty disturbed by all that nonsense.
So I turned to that man, and told him
my theory of a woman.
Now to me a woman is a great gift
from God.
She puts up with all of our bad habits.
She takes care of our children,
And she keeps us in line whenever we are slipping.
She is like a pale white dove,
with a heart so full of love.
Women want to live their lives
just like us men,
and that is fine with me.
A woman to me,
Is just the perfect meaning
of beauty.
I think if men could do half,
of what a woman does
The world would be a better place.
People world wide could then,
live each day with a smile on their face.
We would never have war,
and always there would be peace.
Some say yeah, but women
are to emotional, well
guess what, so are we.
Women deserve respect, love,
honesty, truth, and
so much more that I could
think of.
So just remember to think,
where would we be without a woman
to keep us in line.
I think this is something
we should all keep in mind.
Your woman should be your best friend
For the day you said I do
She became yours to the end.
And she deserves nothing less,
for she thinks you're the best.
Personally I think we ask to much
from our women.
We are always expecting more
than they can give.
Sure they don't mind doing for their man,
but what are they to do,
when they have done all they can.
We need to start giving back,
before a woman is something we all lack.
A woman loves to be romanced
With soft music, and maybe a midnight dance.
They love bubble baths
filled with rose petals, and candle light.
A woman loves to hear thank you,
every now and then,
and an I love you, when you lie down for bed.
A woman likes to hear
sweetie how was your day,
or is there anything I can help you with,
before I am on my way.
So as a real man
why don't you all do
the best you can.
For after all without a woman
we are nothing,
but just a poor excuse of a man.

Extraordinary piece of rare male insight! Being a woman I have to say I agree wholeheartedly with you. (lololol). You are right though, seriously, we just wanted to be treated equally and yet like a woman. That is only fair between the sexes. Thanks for noticing.

My best to you,
Rita
