Bleeding For Love

Contributed by night_child on Wednesday, 31st March 2004 @ 09:38:27 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I watch the blood trickle
Down my pale arms
No strong will I hold
To keep the blade away
I have been ruined
I've become nothing

I can't go on like this
We haven't had a decent conversation
In months
Months that feel like years

You've left
And left your mark
Upon my heart
I know you'll come back
To exchange four words with me again
As pathetic as it sounds
I'll look forward to it
Because I love you

I wish you'd tell me
What you want
What I can do
All I want
Is to be
With you

I feel as though I've lost you
No longer are you who you were
Your mood changes
From day to day
When you're down
You bring me with you

I just want to stop cutting
I want to know you care

I gently lick the blood away
Tasteing the sweet sourness
Just like your feelings for me

I clean the wounds
As I think of you
Another week of long sleeve shirts
Simply over thou

I love you
Why cannot you love me back?

Admist these lies and trechory
I scream to you
To tell me how to feel

Tell me to stop loving you
If that is what you desire
For until those words have passed your lips
My love for you shall remain

My heart
Fast is fading
Slowly breaking
Again
