Tree Of Life
A tangled wretch tied to ground
Buried by the time aged beliefs
Upon the tree of life no leafs
She was the beauty gift in the garden stand
She was the downfall of woman and man
Ages of grief with her roots do bleed
Whatever poised wasted the seed
From her futile drew forth greed
Knowledge wrong just a weed
They nailed him to another tree
She watched in dis-belief
Upon this tree only one leaf
Tangled wretch it will stand
A burning reminder to man
The wound will forever bleed
So it is a trophy there bare of seed
Fallen on hard times result of greed
Even now true it is a dried up weed
