Addiction smells like opium
Cocaine breeds bad cells
Alcohol stains my breath
This may cause my death
The flow and rythm of my thoughts
is like the person I am not
I lost myself in a drug
This re-occuring theme of love
The affective spirits
The smell it merits
The taste; compare it
The feeling; I wear it
like a cloak, a shirt
a tie, like dirt
the worst is first
love is cursed
life is first
it's all a sceme
to end the thirst

You come across here as though you're speaking from experience, which (if you're not) is rather good, and if you are speaking from experience, then I commend you for honestly expressing your perspective on addiction . . .
"it's all a sceme
to end the thirst"
Well constructed and executed. |
