I have lost it
It has gone
Unable to write a thing
It's all going wrong!
Most of my stuff
Was about a girl
Now I've so many thoughts
My heads in a twirl!
Trying too hard
To concentrate
Typing then deleting
Until much too late!
So many lovely words
But in sequence won't fit
When placed on the page
They read back like s##t!
Delusional was I
To think as a poet
Something must rhyme with this
But I just don't know it!
Goodbye for now
I'll still come to view
Although I'm failing to write
My soul thinks of you.

Awww...I have many times suffered this same fate with my mind. Just goes blank!! Then all at once it will just start moving again. Like it needs a kickstart here and there..but don't stop...never stop trying...I enjoy reading your works..so keep it up!!! :) |

Yes, keep on trying, but perhaps not focus on the writing, but just plain relaxing and enjoying whatever you think of, then the block will be released. Hope your doing better, and the tests are going easier.
always,
Amber Rose :) |

Thankyou Lia,
I do enjoy reading your writes too and I will never stop trying.
But it's just so bloody frustrating at times when my mind is always at work but nothing makes sense on paper!

Hi Amber,
Do you think something like Yoga could actually help? I keep thinking about it, but have never really found a viable reason before!
My final exam in this course is at 8am your time on Saturday 28th, so fingers crossed please!
With love

Dean, I have felt like this only once in my life but it lasted for five years. I was the wrost feeling in the world for me. Because I love to write, and not just poetry. At that time in my life I couldn't write a thing not even a note to a friend, it was horrible. But it was for a valid reason, that was the lowest point in my life. But as you now know thanks to Shadow the dam in my mind has been broken and the words have been flowing freely almost since the day I met him. I am very happy now, alomst back to my old self again. But I still have some things to work through before that can happen again. But I hope that it happens soon.

Candice, it is a really bad feeling if you love to write! I am pleased to see that you're feeling much better these days, and actually doing what you love to do so much.
It was horrible for me because I knew in my mind what I wanted to write, and I would write exactly what I though. But when reading back what I'd got down it all just sounded really bad and so corny, no that's wrong it wasn't good enough to classed as corny!Hehehe
It was just rubbish!
Anyway thankyou for commenting
With love
Dean;-) |

Dean, it is not hard for me to understand what you went through because I have been there. Some of my friends just don't understand because they haven't been there, but they have been suportive.
