In my daily struggles... as they always seem uphill
In my quest to live... this life as I choose
It's hard to find each day... the love I need
The love I always seem to lose
While trying to survive this old world's many unpleasant deeds
Just when I need a loving friend...
I find... I have my secret wind...
A warm southern breeze blowing softly through my mind
A special friend...
Who's always near to my heart
Ready to cheer me on... not fall apart with time
This secret wind... special friend
Gives wings to my heart... flight to my dreams
Always near ready to encourage me
With words of love... that lift me up when I'm down on my knees
Can turn my frown upside down... to a smile
With just one look... one glimpse... from those beautiful eyes
My secret wind... my special friend
What a special treasure... you are...
Always will be...
One from the heart...
That with these words of love I'll gladly impart to thee
'Cause I couldn't do... what I do...
Without the love... the encouragement from you
My secret wind... my special friend
You lift me up... higher and higher
With wind beneath my wings...
To soar like an eagle in flight...
As it carries me on it's wings...
To another place... another time
This secret wind... special friend
Can always supply a loving hug
When I am in need of one...
Where the love never seems to be...
Can always find love's tiny voice crying out...
Straining to be heard... over the noise of life's busy den
When no one else seems to be listening
My secret wind... my special friend
Ahh...you know who you are... 'cause you're there each day...
I'm carrying you within my heart...
You always hear what I'm saying...
What I'm saying is...
I LOVE YOU!
