I Love My Mom

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Well, again we just got off the phone,
And, you know, I really didn't like your tone.
I can't believe all the things you said,
Your words are still ringing in my head.
That's it, I'm done, I've had enough,
So here it is, don't like it? Tough.

All I wanted was for you to care,
But you never had the time and you weren't there.
No matter what it was, you were alway fake,
Instead of giving, you were the first to take.
You can't suddenly decide to be my mother,
Because I already found her, in another.

You were never there when I needed,
You couldn't understand, buy she did.
While you looked down on my from above,
She looked into my eyes, with love.
Don't ask, there isn't anything I'd give her up for,
She's all I ever seem to have anymore.

I know it's hard for a mother to face,
When she's failed so bad that she's been replaced.
But I just got sick and tired of the shouts,
And I know that this hurts you to find out,
But if you still don't get it, then this is my P.S.
I love my mom, but her name is Ness.
~Jaime Moran~

I know this was an emotional write for you. Why people think sireing or giving birth makes you a Mom or Dad is beyond me. Being a Mom or Dad means time, love and responsibility for that life from the beginning until they are old enough to go out on their own and still you are there for them if they need you. This is an exceptionally insighful write.

Rainbows,
Rita

*eyes bug out of her head* Well, guess that means we're definately sisters then. ;)

You kinda surprised me with this when mom showed it to me earlier. It's really good. Loved it.

Your sis,
Mara
