Light the candles, cleanse your space
Meditate in your sacred place
Centered and balanced that’s the key
To do your work with impunity.
Then we begin
Pendulum, parchment, ink and quill
Keep your hands steady and still
Ask your questions honestly
Clear your mind of cacophony
Concentrate on the question posed
Not the answer that’s supposed
Now put that crystal to the test
Swing for no, circle for yes.
