I'm sorry

Contributed by cryingonmyporch on Saturday, 21st September 2002 @ 07:31:22 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

A life with an expiration date.
I did not know where to flee.
I knew I could run to you.
But to do it just wasn’t me.

I say my Good-byes now.
Knowing tomorrow may never come.
I don’t want to leave my friend without those finals words.
To stay here with only you would fill my heart with glee.
But I know my friend it is my soul that is to be set free.

The thought of dieing tomorrow scared me till today.
But knowing you are with me tomorrow is just a day.

I say today good-bye.
I am nor God or fortune teller.
Because of you my friend I look forward to tomorrow.

This is so sad but so heart felt, I'm sure your friend knows how you feel, and for you to know he will always be there for you.

Sometimes I felt like that...sorta. But I did like your poem. Keep your friends close. You need them. :)
