Just Breath Leann!

Contributed by lowman613 on Monday, 29th March 2004 @ 08:04:21 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I watch every breath you take,
from your hospital bed,
I watch every movement your chest makes,
and I sit here rubbing your head,
So many wires hooked up to you,
I cry just sitting here
Theres nothing mommy can do,
but just hold you near,
I havent left your side,
or went home for days,
hoping the angels are there to guide,
I sit here & pray,
I cry so hard I just cant leave, Seeing the oxygen in your nose,
Mommy wispers"Leann Just breath"
As I tickle your little toes,
Just 2 wks old so fragile & small,
struggling to breath,
Your tiny chest is giving it their all,
Trying to fight this RSV,
Mommy holds your little hand,
so you know that I'm here,
I wisper to you "Just Breath Leann",
As I wipe away my tear!

I know everyone was wondering where I was, well Leann was very sick & they kept her on Oxygen for three days!So I didnt go home!
We are home from the hospital & doing ok now! Thank God shes doing better!
