The softness of your skin I touch,
The weakness in my knees.
The look upon my face,
When you’re the one I see.
The simplest grin and smile
Seems to light up the worst day.
Stupid words, ditzy time,
And all those jokes you play.
Holding your hand in secret,
Hugging you to death.
Lying next to you,
Feeling every breath.
Kisses on my cheek,
Sweet kisses in the air.
Hand lying on my stomach,
Nothing could compare.
Waiting for the weekend,
When in my bed you lay.
I wish I could kiss you every night,
And even everyday.
Simple winks and smiles,
Secrets that we keep.
Snuggling up all close at night,
Trying not to fall asleep.
I never could love anyone,
More than I love you.
Love like this is golden,
It’s felt by very few.
So today I make a promise,
That I shall never break.
Until my life is over,
I’ll be there when you wake.
You’re everything to me,
Till death do us part.
As best friends or more,
You’ll always hold my heart.
You made my life completely better,
You gave me new eyes to look through.
I thank you everyday,
That’s why I fell in love with you.
