Here I am
So far from the sky
These iron wings
They will not fly

Down here on earth
Our smiles fade
Our faces crack
And tears cascade

Here I am
So far from the sky
These iron wings

You said I'd find someone
Somebody new
But none of them
Compare to you

I wish I could soar
To where you are
To talk to you
My guiding star

I don't think it's too repetative at all! I think the way you repete lines gives the peom shape. ooh I bet that made a pretty song too...^_^
