I lay back in my filth,
And reminise on memories that didn't happen,
All my thoughts of nothing without the room,
All my hopes and dreams belittled,
By the person who doesn't exist in my head,
In this moment I had no soul,
All my thoughts not extending beyond these walls,
As all these words are to the page,
Heartless Soulless,
For a moment I was able to forget the pain.
