carved initials into the ole oak tree
a forgotten script
just like you forgot me
words engraved with a silver knife
reminiscing passages of an old life
wind whistles a tale of a dreamless dream
sky lies there watching never sleeps
a heart's wilderness wild
emotional fits of a possessed child
waiting
just waiting for you
to pull me from this tainted universe so lonely and blue
