My Sweet Angel

Contributed by ADreamWithinADream on Monday, 29th March 2004 @ 12:17:24 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I have waited my whole little life for a caring soul
To make me feel cared for-to make me feel whole
So far I can say
That until you came my way
No one fit the description
When I discovered you my heart jumped in elation
I knew I had found someone so very
Extra-extra ordinary
An Angel in disguise
Coming to bring my self-demon's demise
To make me see that I am worthwhile
And to find my smile
But my dear, your intentions did not include what feelings that came to be
For you inside of me
And now I feel something I have ALWAYS longed for
LOVE, yet SO MUCH MORE
You were with me almost every day
You helped me along my way
You taught me SO much
My heart you did so gently touch
With your eyes
And now in me lies
A deep, ENGULFING love for you
My SWEET ANGEL I love you so
Thank you for everything you do
Becasue no matter where I go
You will always be with me in my heart and soul
Even if friendship is to be your only role
