My Saviour

Contributed by silent on Monday, 29th March 2004 @ 11:19:49 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

The dogs of sin lie
As doth the sun of silent gloom
Alone as whispered winds speak
To a tortured soul through a sunlit room

Along the mountain path
Trodden by countless foes
Eagles soar above a face
Of earthly depths and woes

A child weeps sweet tears of life
While mother entertains thoughts so bitter
Father gone with no goodbye
Abandoned house of memories whither

Upon a shore with night so quiet
As moonlight rests upon stars so bright
A princess in the mind of demons
To rest in bloodied light

Undying love to those that fight
Beyond unwavering stone
To tame the wildest horses nature
With this I shall atone

You my love shine in that room
Such hurt is in your soul
Your home a haunted place of shadows
Has taken such a toll

So many cut with razor blades
For I held your heart too close
When I should've been the one to give
My life to you the most

For you are and always will be my saviour
forevermore..my dearest angel

The depths from which one can dig love from. Very good write, that's haunting as well.
