IN MEMORY OF JUAN CHRISTE

Contributed by desire on Monday, 29th March 2004 @ 12:57:39 AM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

its been a few days since i heard them say
that you had passed away
and i find it hard to grasp that you are gone
i just have to understand God called you home
and do my best to adjust that you are no longer here
but every time i close my eyes i want you to appear
and tell me that you are ok
just help me find peace in some kind of way
there is so much that i will miss about you
but i have my memories to get me through
like the first time you and i met
that is one day i will never forget
the way you looked when I walked through the door
i had never seen a man as handsome as you before
so tall and charming with a sexy smile
and the way you dressed i knew you had style
we just smiled and both said hello
i was in rush so i had to go
eventually fate brought you back my way
and that was a wonderful day
the time we spent was always good
you treated me the way a man should
we became friends, then lovers what can i say
you just made me feel special that way
im still finding it hard to let it soak in
that i will never see your handsome face again
Gods decision is one we all have to accept
but you are a soul that no-one can forget
apart of you will always be with me
safe in side my hearts memory

Deeply emotional, a true dedication.
