Whisper in my canopy through the orchestra of hate
From the birds of rusting ecstacy
Comes the bleeding dust of fate
Yell out my name
In hopes he will come
Yell out a sign
In hope of the midnight sun
I'm listening for a motive that'll keep me silent
I'm waiting for demise to hush my screams
I'm hunting for bereavement of my luncay's violence
I'm suffering for my infliction of awful dreams
Ghost of demise
Please inhale me
Ghost of my cries
Please swallow me
Into the night I'll go
Sleep, sleep, sleep

I think you used a lot of powerful words and images to convey a sense of darkness. I think you succeded as well. I have to be honest and tell you it didn't make much sense to me, but I still think it sounded cool.
You did a good job, and I enjoyed reading it. I really liked the flow and the images in the first few lines. |
