Many words have been written
about the land of Australia
but few poets use that word, cause
the only word that ryhmes is failure!

I've heard people talkin in this place
about the neighbors show,
of deadly snakes and spiders,
rocks and Kylie Minoghue.

But I have seen these things
in all their silly wonder,
cause I am a humble bloke
who comes from the land down under!

We're all from the land down under!

Hoges' he's not the best actor
I've heard people call him a clutz
but he b.sd his way into your wallets
and made 300 hundred million bucks!

The same could be said for Kylie
"Has she talent?" I've heard asked.
But what the hell it doesn't matter
she's got a real good.......voice.

There was an Aussie battler
made pommy batsmen look very silly.
He was the meanest bowler ever born
went by the name of Lillee!

We're all from the land down under!

Mate keep your hands off Olivia
she is our blonde bombshell,
and besides she's kissed Travolta
made his century I've heard tell.

Me mate Mel he's a legend
has made a name for himself.
But if he was't born in the USA
he'd still be on the shelf.

Our Ozz is a land of plenty
with so few inhabitants
and things get hot and sticky
that's why we wear short pants!

We're all from the land down under!

You won't see us dressed too much
wont wear all the knobs and handles.
We would never lower ourselves, like the poms
and wear long socks and sandals!

So this is my real quick answer
to that bloke called WildeJohnney.
You notice I didn't mention Rugby
cause that's where we're ordinary!

So if you want to learn to be an aussie
it's easy don't you know?
Just check your entertainment guide
go see the Dame Edna show!

There is no Aussie 4 x 4
and for this I am very glum :-(
But one sparkle in our short history
is we invented Bundeberg Rum :-)

So when next you meet an Aussie
Don't go and steal his thunder
walk up, shake his hand and say......
G'day!
We're all from the land down under!

Sunken land of Oz Emerald city awaits Atlanteans float. Its wiff waff Houdini and Holmes repeated those words to me then Chunder straight after on Dame Edna documentary, synchronistic to chunder is to be sick , Upon hearing those words I/'/d first heard 2 days before when he said wiff waff n I laughed not knowing what he said it for n he said its what ping pong is really called I thought maybe he/'/s making it up but he said it was true and then he said have you ever heard the word chunder , he said it was a word for being sick , I laughed n said whatever your too clever n maybe a liar. But the next week i showed him wiff waff n chunder one after the other in my entertainment viewing history on now tv Dame Edna from the land down under now I think that/'/s enough to sink ships n make anyong chunder . x
