The sound of my small hand hitting your unshaven face.
your scream of shock as I jump off your disgusting lap.
running, running as fast as I could.
hiding under the sink.
silent as can be.
listening to you untie the strings that bound the chairs around the couch.
you said it was for protection.
it felt like a cage to some one my size.
you scream as you throw my tiny blankets about.
you walking throughout the house trying to coax me out of my hiding place.
the door opens I hear you slam your head.
grandmas voice.
I ran out and told what you did.
you denied it all.
grandma saw the place torn apart.
we left.
left for good!!!

I agree with Jenni this was heartbreakingly sad. No child should have to suffer thru a nightmare like that. Oh and welcome to YPDC... Kie
