Lovely bride
Dressed in black
Her torn and frailed dress
Laps up the fiery coals
Boquet of wilting roses
In her bony hands
Make up smudged
From a million tears cried
And a kiss that never met lips
Walking up the aisle
To a groom
That will never be there

The best gear comes in small boxes,
I like that about this,
I also like your vivid expressions. |

I think your poem is beautiful, it doesn't rhyme so it's very tolerable 'cause I can't stand poems that rhyme all the time, they're just annoying and shallow. The Lovely Bride isn't alone, I also have never kissed a man. |
