I used to think
everything was perfect,
and dreams could
be true reality.
But now i know,
the cold, hard truth
and nothing is the same.
Life itself has become
really lame!
When i was young,
like most little girls,
i wished for a knight in
shining armor to come to me,
and i sat and waited,
but he never came.
I no longer wait,
fore i have grown
and learned,
i never was, and
never shall be the
pretty princess in a
little girl's dream.
