Can you figure me out without having to ask?
Is there anything about me you already know?
Do you dare to remove my mask?
Will you be afraid of what I might show?
Can you hear my deepest pleads?
Can you catch my scariest thoughts?
Can you heal me before I bleed?
Or will you just leave me here to rott?
Can you protect my heart from being harmed?
Will you share your heart with me?
Am I dangerous if I'm armed?
Just through the chest, how hard can it be?
Will you watch how much I take?
Will you watch before I leap?
Can you be sure that I will wake?
Will you wake me before I sleep?
Do you really think you've tried your best?
Did you try with both your hands?
Do you know or did you guess?
Have you tried to understand?
Are you willing or do you dare?
Can you see me straight through?
You just comfort me but do you care?
Did you see my pain before it grew?
Can you catch me before I fall?
I'm upset, can you tell?
Are you talking to me or to the wall?
Just walk pass me, you might as well!

Wow, that told her then!!! Obviously more of a fairweather friend than a true one if she can't see your pain. Good poem, you aired your views, hope she sees it she might come to her senses.

This is cliched and overused but "A friend in need is a friend indeed". A true friend is one who'd still stick with you even if they knew who you really are. I hope your friend sees that. |
