Gazing through trying to see.
Happy, oblivious, excited for life.
Waiting for the cocoon to break free.
Each movement brings anticipation
No longer bound to the ground.
Finally without hesitation, outstretched wings.
With baited breath, I open my eyes.
Saddened, realized, surpressed till another day.
As the reflection of the sun hits the glass jar.
