What Then?

If stuck in a phenomenal world/time;
With thought (Cartesian self-proof) and dis-trust
Eroding to Ozymandiac grime
Beliefs: the un-examined flesh-ly crust.
If all the koans, parables don't work;
The East and West combine to form a nil
Whilst poems lose oxymoronic torque
And entropy: Entropy laps her fill.
If Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead;
Godot no longer kept a weather eye
But left in lieu, opus-magnific dread
Bored of existential: un-answered li'es.
Then wait not for the dawning apocalyptic.
The willful blind are veil'd where no veil e'er was fix't.

Huh. Very intellectual. Great allusions. It was really good- I almost wish it was written for me! (not that I want to be an intellectual snob). great prosy. |
