Time has changed

Contributed by sunshinegirl on Friday, 20th September 2002 @ 06:09:32 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

In the distance I stare to see
The way our love used to be
The support of always knowing you’d be there
Showing your love, showing you care

Now you’re not the way you use to be
Time has changed and so have we
I get scared, I’m not always strong
Can’t you see me hurting, I feel so alone

I need to hear that you love me
That you need me, and you’ll never leave.
I wish that with all my might,
I could go back and make things right

But something in my life I’m starting to miss
You love, your touch, your gentle kiss
As the tears fall from your eyes
My lonely heart begins to cry

Was it my fault? What did I do?
For you to leave me, my heart in two?
You said it wasn’t working and the problem wasn’t me
But that this is the way that it should be

But why does it hurt? Why is there pain?
Love was lost; there was nothing to gain
Why is it that now that I lost you?
I begin to realize how much I love you!

That was beautiful. Just remember to always follow you heart and make decisions for yourself. Your happiness should always come first!

Beautiful write. Maybe you didn't really lose him, maybe he's just lost hoping you'll find him. Maybe... it's never too late to go back and make things right. Maybe he's as lonely without you as you are without him. Maybe he's your "MisterRight." Maybe.

I think Curtis may be correct here. It seems as though you are aching horribly for this 'lost love'. Try pickin up the phone sometime and givin him a ring..ya never know..maybe he misses you too. You'll never know unless you try. I really like the way you write. I can feel your hurt and your love all at the same time...good job

That often happens. Beautiful write... maybe you haven't lost him, just misplaced him for a while... ;) Great write!

i really like this.

"I need to hear that you love me
That you need me, and you’ll never leave."

those are my favorite lines because they remind me of myself. i am constantly making my boyfriend promise me he will never break up with me.
