"SPRING'S MAGIC CARPET"
Oh My~~~~~~High my spirits ride.
Upon Spring's magic carpet glide.
Heavenward higher, sighs soar!
Winter's prisoner, 'twas grey I wore.
Spring nudges Mother Earth
Creatures awaken, soon give birth
Bird's mating, playing "touch-tag"
Spring's loving spirit, instincts nag.
Enduring Winter hard, 'twas severe!
Spring's beauty dismiss, disappear.
Lengthy days, sun's rays, soul's embrace.
Ah~~Spring can only bring, splendor's grace
Hearts promising, lifetimes together.
Loving, hoping, brand-new forever.
Creatures tiny, some wee, some smaller.
Flying, jumping, worm's creeping....crawler.
Generous delight. His season's our variety.
An awakening, eagerness' brisk beauty!
Spring's magic carpet ride each year.
Aging advanced, becomes even more dear!

What a beautiful celebration of spring! I loved this and the grapics were perfect for your poem. Spring is my favorite time of year and you did a commendable job of capturing the very essence of the season. You deserve five stars for this one!

| If there is anything more beautiful than spring I haven't found it. Trees and bushes flowering, little baby animals everywhere, insects getting busy and squirrel flying thru trees. This was the perfect poem for spring, you can't help but feel positive when its spring and depression is non existant! Loved this poem ConSue... Kie |

Hi Mom,
I'm playing catch up.
Yeah, and female cats get pregnated, ha.
Very good write, Mom.
I was jus out earlier looking at all my tulips and other folwer bushes etc. in bloom. Jus was wishing the blooms didn't fade so fast.

This is EXACTLY the way I feel about spring---especially the part about wearing winter's gray. YUK! I suffer from SAD, and Spring is one of my FAVORITE times of year! Thanks for sharing this.
