I use to spend my days missing you,
but hurting in side from what we went through.
it took me a while but i finally came around,
i was searching for answers that will never be found.
everything in my life seemed to be going wrong,
my days were short and my nights seemed long.
but through the grace of God and some support,
i came out of my sadness and made an effort.
to pick myself up and move on to another day,
and stop worrying about why I walked away.
the sadness faded and a stronger me emerged from inside,
slowly putting away memories of a love that hasn't died.
I'M moving on knowing that this for me,
is just a love should that not be.
its a fact i ignored because i loved you so,
but i would end up hating you if i didn't go.
i tried to help you open your eyes and see,
that the life you were living was to much for me.
sure i loved you enough that i could of tried to stay,
but i loved me more, enough to walk away.
we argue, make up and every thing's ok,
that was your solution that was our way.
the next time same ole thing nothing new,
but after awhile that only worked for you.
kissing and making up wasn't helping our case
we had problems that you didn't want to face
you were dependent on me always being there,
i was your crush and that wasn't fair.
i hope in my absence you realize,
that the life your living could be your demise.
I'M gonna always have a love for you,
an I pray that God sees you through.
