I’ve said my “I’m sorry.” ’s
I’ve wallowed in my regrets
I just don’t care anymore
This is just one big lost bet
I understand now some things aren’t meant to be
I cared for her so much; she just couldn’t feel the same for me
I’ve dropped all my losses; I’m going on with life
I just really don’t need all of this strife
This is my last goodbye, my final farewell
She’s already gotten over me, or can I just not tell?
So to those reading this, remember I’m happy now
This is where I’ll smile and take my last bow
I’m leaving you all to find just one place
Where maybe I’ll be happy, where I might see her smiling face
