I've thought about this too much
It's not my choice to make
But rather Your's, O Mighty One
I've tried to find it too long
But it's not mine to find
Now I wait 'til You say it's time
I'm a new born poet in the making
I lift up all my words to You
I'm on fire and You steal my pain away
Wrapped up in people too much,
trying to get that special thing
When Your the one that supplies it
Look at these wasted years,
that looked so beautiful
Turned everywhere except to You
