Ridding the Pain

Contributed by Soulless on Friday, 26th March 2004 @ 09:07:02 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

Staring throught the open doors
Upon a world of silent light
Reflecting me along its shores
Here it calls for me tonight

For this the night I can forget
Abandon everything I know
Sending my world crashing down
A perfect night to let go

Let the rain wash it all away
Let the snow bury down my past
It can not haunt me another day
Im free from the unknown meat last

Let the moon encircle the perfect stars
Let the sun shine down upon me
Showing through these once blind eyes
Now to uncross the world and see

Here I lay me down to sleep
Bringing new and let it seep
Upon the light the old give in
Taming down these harmful sins

Meeting up with all I've lost
Retrieving everything I gave
A new awakening shall be crossed
And lay the old to rest

Let the rain wash it all away
Let the snow bury down my past
It can not haunt me another day
Im free from the unknown meat last

Let the moon encircle the perfect stars
Let the sun shine down upon me
Showing through these once blind eyes
Now to uncross the world and see

Let the new rain
Bring me up again
Let the new snow
leave me not alone
Let the moon sway
To bring another day
Let the sunlight
Bring another night

Let me rise up fresh tonight
Bring back the beautious so bright
Letting past fade to light
Let me fall free tonight

~Soulless~

Whoa . . . I hate to be redundant, but that's just beautiful. Nicely, very nicely, done.
