ADVICE ON VICE

Tell the truth? - I should have.
Knowing the truth - I could have.
Foreseeing the result - I would have.
Perjury is a definite - no no.
When under oath - behave so.
Don't hem haw - to and fro.
Do not as I did, but - as I say.
Don't learn your lesson - the hard way.
The legal authorities - don't play.
They'll put you in - the clinkeroo.
Then you'll know not - what to do.
But sit in jail - and boohoo.
Wondering what - could have been.
On the outside - instead of in.
Doing five years - in the state pen.
So, all my options - I've gone through.
I'm restricted in what - I can do.
From now on, the truth - I'll cling to.
For truth, is manna - from above.
Decending, formed as - a dove.
An act of God's - condescending love.
Matt.3:16 and John.16:13

Christ himself is the Truth.
Simine Weil, - a non Christian mystic- had beautiful words to that effect.
Having Christ speak:
"If you should lose me (Christ) but cling to the truth, you fall right back into my arms, because I am the TRUTH"
