Love what a beautiful thing!

Contributed by Necromant on Friday, 26th March 2004 @ 01:56:21 PM in AEST
Topic: sarcasticpoetry

Love, love, love, ah Love… what an inspiring word!,
It’s an artwork, a tempting music, a warm ardent flame,
Its our driving force in this cruel and desolated world!,
It’s a sin to put such a pure thing in our hand, but who am I to blame?

Love is flawless and eternal, it is the only absolute reason,
Love gives and never takes, feel it and you’ll live like a king,
It’s as sweet as sugar cane, and it doesn’t understand treason,
Taste it and you’ll spend all your days birdlike, just fly and sing!

What is that on the news? People dying with excessive intake of sugar?
Psychosis and depression? Were they deaf to the music? I wonder…

As sarcastic a you may...I do agree...love that flighty lady...that cruel yet beautiful parody. But truly love is indeed a beautiful thing...stop and think.. what is the poetry most prevelant..most divinely beautiful and prosaic.. are they not those of love?? Even I the master of dark despair ofts write of love...and my despair is in part caused by love...ohh Love what a beautiful thing indeed.
Nice write!... I love sarcasm..ha ha haa

sometimes i wonder if thats our purpose in love is just to find true love.... then i realize its more than that.... but many of us that is the ultimate goal in life to get married have a family and live happily ever after.....
