There He Goes

Contributed by Schnikes13 on Thursday, 25th March 2004 @ 10:53:21 PM in AEST
Topic: SecretLove

There he goes
Just walking on by again
The image burned into my brain
And I just can’t contain
All these feelings that remain

There he goes
Just smiling brightly again
The feeling running through my veins
And I just can’t contain
All these feelings that remain

Surprise me, with your unorthodox way
Impress me, with your reasons to stay

There he goes
Just laughing loud again
The sound echoing in my ears
And I just can’t contain
All these feelings that remain

There he goes
Just running far again
The breeze whipping through my hair
And I just can’t contain
All these feelings that remain

He’s there running, running through the rain
Nobody else could ever heal my pain

There he goes
Just leading me on again
The strings of my heart tightening
And I just can’t contain
All these feelings that remain

He calls my name,
Through the rain;
Nothing’s the same,
No one else could heal my pain

There he goes
Secretly loving me again
The smile on my face growing
Because I just can’t contain
All those feelings that remain

Very, very good! Complex, which fits perfectly with the stricter rhyme scheme. Great job.
Take care. Keep your hope up. Wonderful things happen once in a while.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
