Desperation

Contributed by Soulless on Thursday, 25th March 2004 @ 09:26:43 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Ok, I enjoy writing dark poetry. And this is one of them.

Walls of corruption stand around me
My ancient world lay below
Dont let them fall upon me
Fight the urge of letting go

Trying to peel the truth beneath the lies
Separate monstrosity of my world
Distortion of this life I despise
Reality now has come mixed and twirled

Im stranded in this relentless nightmare
Emitting every color beneath my own
Stabalize the damage that need repair
And withstand these walls of desperation

Plunging into shadows of my faults
wading in my ignorant darkness
My fears are tearing down against me
Looming in favor of immortality

Taste the sap of sweet revenge
My little world is closing in
Ripping me they shall avenge
This bloody sorrow simmers thin

Trying to peel the truth beneath the lies
Separate monstrosity of my world
Distortion of this life I despise
Reality now has come mixed and twirled

Im stranded in this relentless nightmare
Emitting every color beneath my own
Stabalize the damage that need repair
And withstand these walls of desperation

For here now my debt repaid
I yearn to leave my eternal separation
Away it all shall fade
I cannot burn this inner desperation

Now I let the whispers take me
Drap me deeper among the darkness
Taking along the somber glory
As my senseless thoughts tarnish

this was awesome I'm not quite sure how to respond intelligently to this... so I'll just say that i think you write dark poetry the best.
