I'm Going On A Holiday

I'm going on a holiday,
Drivin up north,
Leaving on Sunday,
Maybe i'll drink some port.
Wonder if the kids will behave,
Such a long drive,
Wonder if they'll be okay,
Maybe we'll play some games.
All the way up to Mackay,
Nice sunny days,
Everything will be okay,
Hope the kids don't fight.
Can just imagine,
If they fight,
I'll be tearing my hair out,
Got some tips for games to play,
Eye spy and what treats they like,
Wrap up little parcels,
As treats when they are good.
I know they will be demanding,
And want to go to the beach alot,
We'll have a ball,
On our holiday,
Hopefully, everything will be okay,
And I'll write more poems,
While I'm away.
