Canto IX
The Sire of Playston Manor oaken beamed
with shield of blazon leopard gold on high
was raised in heather Playston's green and seemed
blessed having eyes blue like the azure sky.
Stephanus Marcus valient knight drew nigh
to Liege Duke Morley's prancing steed in line.
At Walderdeen large Castle Throme doth lie.
In Throme's majestic Great Hall they would dine.
A banquet feast for Morley waits at late hour nine.

Ok. I'm ignorant of your Brave Knight series, so I decided to click-on and take a looksee what its all about.
You write with good structure and specific detail. Is this a historical-based poem? If not, then I commend your imagination, as this has past, present and future tense included.
Very good write . . . |
