Time Will Wait For You
Your bags are packed,
The taxi is waiting outside.
A tear falls slowly down your cheek,
I gently wipe it away.
I see what you fear,
When I look deeply into your eyes.
Fear not,
For while your gone,
Time stands still.
From the time you walk away,
Until you return,
Time will wait for you.
Our world together,
Will not change,
Because our love is eternal.
I will smile,
Exactly how I do now,
When you return,
Back to me.
So worry no more,
For time will wait for you,
To return to my arms once more...

There is sadness but you seem to have but it to "matter of fact." I would like to see this nice verse blended somehow. Wonderful work for just doing it during a class. |
