I'm Watching.

Topic: DarkPoetry

sitting somewhere close to me
i can no longer distinguish
this place has filled me up with doubt
i cannot silence the anguish
subtle smiles no longer exchanged
trapped inside despair
wandering through my twisted mind
taste the misery in the air
no one can hear these silent screams
hungering for something more
haunted love i can't achieve
my amount of worth hits the floor
why do things seem meaningless?
why do i no longer care?
you're surrounded by your carelessness
but i cannot sense you there
this cold has stolen away my breath
gasping with surprise
and here, i know that i'm the cause
nothing more i can surmise
if you allow me not to stay
i'll leave, but not for good
you've destroyed all that i am
only because you could

I'm watching.
